Surge in COVID cases for 3 provinces

There has been a surge in COVID-19 infections in three of our provinces. This includes the Free State, North West and Northern Cape.

Adrian Puren the Executive Director for the National Institute For Communicable Diseases joined us

to discuss these rising numbers. He says this is not an indication of a third-wave at this stage,

but rather an ‘alert’ to warn people to continue adhering to the rules and not let their guard down.
