IEC ready for municipal elections

Political parties have six months to prepare for the elections which are set to take place on the 27th of October.

Work is now in full swing to have voters registered.

But what happens if the country is experiencing surging COVID numbers in October?

We spoke to IEC Chief Sy Mamabolo, who explained that the elections could still be postponed if absolutely necessary.
