J&J vaccine trial to resume
The rollout of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine for healthcare workers, will officially resume on Wednesday.
Rollout of the vaccine was suspended last week after the US reported six cases of blood clotting,
out of the almost 7 million people who received the vaccine. After studying the data at home and abroad,
both the US and our health department confirmed that the vaccine is safe to use.
Barry Schoub, a Professor of Virology at Wits University, welcomed the news.
