Pfizer vaccines touchdown in SA
In exactly two weeks, people who are 60-years and older will be among the first ordinary citizens, to get their COVID-19 vaccine. That's when phase two of the national vaccination rollout program will kick-off.
Last night over 320 000 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines arrived in the country and government says by the end of June it expects to receive 4.5 million doses. The two-dose vaccine has been long awaited and was the first to receive emergency use approval, internationally.
