Pass the baton!!
On Sunday the South African men’s 4-by-100-meter relay team claimed gold at the World Athletics Relay Championships in Poland.
Sprinters Thando Dlodlo, Gift Leotlela, Clarence Munyai and Akani Simbine stopped the clock at 38.71 seconds, edging team Brazil by a slender 100th of a second the race was one for the SA history books.
To give us a bit more insight into the race and preparation, we chatted to SA sprinter and 2018 Commonwealth Games’ 4x100 relay silver medallist, Anaso Jobodwana.
