‘Seriti commission was a fiasco’
Anti-corruption activists have hailed a decision by the Judicial Services Commission to investigate the conduct of judges Willie Seriti and Hendrick Musi.
The judges presided over the R150 billion arms deal inquiry which absolved President Jacob Zuma of wrongdoing.
The Seriti commission was labelled as a whitewash after the court found no evidence of corruption in 2015.
Two non-profit organisations, Shadow World Investigations and Open Secrets, lodged a complaint with the JSC.
Anti-corruption activist Terry Crawford-Browne says the commission was a cover-up.
