Information Regulator vs Whatsapp

The Information Regulator has written to WhatsApp, requesting that it amends its privacy policy in South Africa.

From tomorrow, Whatsapp will require its users to accept new terms and conditions for using the app.

To speak to us on what these terms and conditions are, we were joined by a Member of the Information Regulator, Collen Weapond. 

He says it makes no sense to be afforded less protection in terms of the revised privacy policy.
