Zulu royal household budget slashed

The Zulu royal household budget has been cut by R5 million for the new financial year. Political analyst, Xolani Dube, says government must maintain its relationship with the royals, but feels that government should not be supporting the royal family financially. He also believes that the R66 million that the royal household received from government, for the 2021/22 financial year, could be better spent on those in need in the province.
