Ace ready for a fight

Today, suspended ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule filed papers at the North Gauteng High Court against ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa, and the party's Deputy Secretary-General, Jessie Duarte. Magashule has asked the court to urgently declare his suspension unlawful and unconstitutional.

He also wants the entire ANC step-aside guidelines to be set aside. Political analyst, Melanie Verwoerd, says depending on what the court decides, this could spell trouble for the both the leadership and structures of the ANC.
