DA leader confirms party factions

An internal DA ‘leak’ caused Bonginkosi Madikizela’s downfall. That’s what party leader John Steenhuisen believes.

Madikizela resigned as a Western Cape MEC and DA provincial leader last month after it emerged that he lied about having a degree.

It’s prompted a CV audit of the party’s office bearers. Steenhuisen sat down for an exclusive interview with etv news’ Graeme Raubenheimer.

Among other they discussed his own lack of qualifications and the party's aspirations for the upcoming municipal elections.
