Vaccine registration picks up in W Cape

The Western Cape government has stepped up its COVID-19 capacity in hospitals across the province.

Additional staff, beds and oxygen supply, are on standby for the surge of cases.

Parallel to this readiness district health officials, are also visiting communities to register over-60s for the jab.

To date, 60 percent of the province's elders are registered.
