Two arrested after Free State hit-and-run

CCTV footage of a hit-and-run incident, was shared on social media at the weekend, causing widespread outrage,
at the driver's callous behaviour. The video shows an elderly woman carrying a baby on her back, exiting a shop. A few moments later, a V-W is seen ramming into the woman. A passenger then jumps out, assesses the damage to the vehicle, before speeding off. Ventersburg police have confirmed that a 45-year old man, and a 19-year old woman have been arrested. They're due in court later this week. The woman and child both survived, but reports suggest the woman's injuries are extensive.
