eThekwini water crisis worsens

Several communities in Durban have had to be put up with having no water supply sometimes for days on end.

They’ve been told the problem is due to aging infrastructure.

But that’s not all.

Two years ago the Auditor-General flagged the City after it found that more than half of its freshwater was being lost due to burst pipes and water leaks.

And with no quick solution, it could take years for the situation to improve.
