Boy mauled by hyena arrives in SA for surgery

The Zimbabwean boy who was mauled by a hyena last month will soon undergo reconstructive surgery.

The boy’s family received donations to pay for his surgery in South Africa.

Ridwan Mia who’s a plastic and reconstructive surgeon says South Africans have shown a real spirit of Ubuntu to make this surgery possible.

He says the boy is in good spirits and is expected to undergo four or five surgeries over the next two weeks.
