Thousands in Gauteng defy COVID-19 protocols

South Africa’s lockdown level three is urgently being reviewed by the National Coronavirus Command Council today. This as the country battles a fierce third COVID-19 wave. 

The situation has rapidly worsened in Gauteng in recent weeks and today members of the provincial executive council visited hotspot areas to monitor compliance. Unfortunately, they were met with many law breakers.
