Round two of Zondo vs Zuma

The Pietermaritzburg High Court is hearing former President Jacob Zuma's application to have his arrest stayed today.

He was found guilty last week of being in contempt of court and sentenced to 15 months in prison.

Zuma has asked the ConCourt to rescind or adjust his sentence based on his current age, his health issues and taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, the Zondo commission is arguing that the court has no reason to entertain his application.
