Calls to arrest the instigators
President Cyril Ramaphosa and his executive could soon be facing a class action lawsuit, for being slow to act against the ongoing unrest.
Action SA has announced that it will be suing the state for failing to act sooner to quell tensions and stop crowds from looting businesses in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal. Over 1200 suspects have been arrested for public violence so far. But this does not include those who instigated the anarchy.
Political parties say deploying police back up came just a little too late.
