Ban on sale of alcohol lifted
The South African Liquor Brand Owners Association says it’s happy about getting some sort of relief.
This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa relaxed certain lockdown rules last night.
It's a small victory for liquor traders who will now be able to sell alcohol between 10am and 6pm
from Monday to Thursday. Kurt Moore, the CEO for SALBA says they have so far lost 23 weeks of trade and the impact of this is severe.
