Old school meets new school

When it was announced that Skateboarding would become a Olympic sport at Tokyo 2020, it opened the door for Dallas Oberholzer to realise a dream.

The 46-year-old’s dream came true when he qualified for the men’s park discipline at Tokyo 2020. He dropped into the Ariake Urban Sports skate Park on Thursday.

As the oldest member of Team South Africa at the games, Oberholzer wrote himself into Olympic history regardless of the result.
