Three children drown in E Cape river

Three children between the ages of 3 and 7 years old, from the same family, have drowned in an Eastern Cape river. The family says they realised late on Friday afternoon that the trio was missing.

When they asked a 4-year-old child that was back at home he said he left them swimming in the river. A search for the children ensued. They were found dead in the river on Sunday afternoon.
