Cannabis Industry Master Plan

Government is working on fast tracking its Cannabis Industry Master plan.

According to the Department of Agriculture, land reform and rural development, it's an industry worth an estimated R12 billion and could create up to 25 000 jobs. The department presented the plan to Parliament last week, and experts say South Africa could become one of the most valuable cannabis markets in Africa by 2023.

The CEO of the African Cannabis Advisory Group, Sibusiso Xaba tells us more about the potential impact the industry could have on South Africa.
