The ANC needs a postponement

Where the ANC failed to nominate ward candidates it will ‘lose’ the votes its supporters would have cast.

That’s the view of constitutional law expert Professor Pierre De Vos who’s been analysing the implications of the Constitutional Court not granting a postponement of the local government elections.

He says this could be catastrophic and open the door for the opposition.
