Empowering women in construction

If you’re a woman running your own construction company you will soon be able to add your name to the Western Cape Human Settlements Department’s list of contractors.

The department is hoping to cast its net wider by attracting more female-owned companies. It also want to encourage private developers to support female sub-contractors.

The Western Cape's Human Settlements MEC Tertius Simmers says the scope of work is vast.
