Restaurant industry still suffering

The restaurant industry has been one of the hardest hit by the COVID-19 lockdown regulations. The industry has made numerous calls to government to lift restrictions further. Restaurant owners say they can't continue operating at less than full capacity.

The CEO of the Restaurant Association of South Africa Wendy Alberts says the industry is drowning in debts and more and more people are losing their jobs.
