BPOPI Act's impact on job interviews

The Protection of Personal Information Act could soon impact the way job interviews are done in South Africa.

The act which came into effect in July this year means that the interviewer will need to get consent from the interviewee when obtaining their personal information.

On Tuesday practicing attorney and partner at Mcaciso Stansfield Incorporated Heineke Brand explained the finer details.
