Addressing the skills deficit among the deaf

Today marks the end of International Deaf Awareness Month.

During the month there were calls to us all to find ways to ensure we don’t exclude deaf people from everyday life.

Living with any disability isn’t always easy especially when it comes to acquiring skills.

Our reporter Henny Ngoveni visited an organisation in Vanderbijlpark which started a training program aimed at addressing this challenge.
