Joburg patients’ unending wait for surgeries

Many Johannesburg residents have been waiting months and in some cases more than a year to undergo various surgeries at the Helen Joseph Hospital.

Today our reporter Rianté Padayachee met up with one woman who’s been on a waiting list for 10 months and has no idea when she’ll receive the medical assistance she desperately needs.
