History has been made at Deloitte Africa. The company has appointed its first female CEO.

Ruwayda Redfearn will be taking over from Lwazi Bam when he steps down in May next year.

Deloitte Africa's newly appointed CEO says she didn’t expect reach this level when she started way back in 1997.

Redfearn says once she takes office transformation and restoring the trust in the audit profession will be high on her agenda.
