Public outrage over Shell's seismic survey

Oil giant Shell says it will go ahead with its seismic survey along the Wild Coast in its search for oil and gas starting on Wednesday. This despite the public outrage and backlash. A petition against the exploration of the Wild Coast has gathered more than 300 000 signatures. Activists, NGOs, locals and members of the tourism sector are planning nationwide protests against the move.
