Cops hit the streets for a safer holiday season
More than 180 additional police officers are patrolling the streets of the Western Cape this festive season. The South Aafrica Police Service launched its safer holiday campaign today ahead of the big days along the coast.
Police Minister Bheki Cele joined officers on the festive rounds where he ordered a tough stance on gender-based violence offenses and for cops to use the full might of the law to root out the crooks.
