A dark Christmas for some E Cape villages

Thousands of residents in the Eastern Cape are likely to spend Christmas in the dark.

Their electricity supply was cut after a series of storms swept through the Alfred Nzo, Chris Hani and OR Tambo district municipalities over the past two weeks. But power supply has been restored only to some areas.
