Government ready to tackle #COVID19
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says a state of emergency could be declared in South Africa if the spread of the coronavirus is not contained.
Several ministers briefed the media on Monday regarding interventions that will be put in place from different cabinet portfolios.
President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Sunday evening and declared the deadly COVID-19 a national disaster.
Currently there are 62 confirmed coronavirus cases in South Africa.
