Public transport regulations eased

Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula has warned taxi drivers, that the coronavirus does not discriminate.

Mbalula spoke to members of the taxi industry, about the dangers of spreading the virus.

He also announced that some regulations will be relaxed.

He announced that the taxis will be given more time, to operate during the lockdown period.

The minister also says mini-bus taxis may now be filled to their licensed capacity,

provided that all passengers wear masks.
