Fossil discoveries re-write human history
An international team of researchers from the University of Cape Town,
has unearthed the earliest known skull of Homo erectus in South Africa.
The species is the first of our ancestors, to be nearly human-like
in their anatomy and aspects of their behavior.
Doctor Robyn Pickering, Director of the Human Evolution Research Institute
at the University of Cape Town told us more about this amazing discovery.
