Helping the most vulnerable during lockdown

Concerns have been raised about security at the temporary isolation site in Strandfontein,

where thousands of homeless people have been moved to.

Plans are under way for leaders from various religious groups to discuss how to address this and other issues.

The Human Rights Commission is one of the organisation’s which will be present at the meetings.

The Commission’s Western Cape representative, Rev. Chris Nissen spoke to us earlier about how it plans to help.
