The link between COVID-19 deaths pre-existing conditions

Yesterday, Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize, announced, 

that seven more people have died as a result of the coronavirus.

Of the seven, five of them had pre-existing conditions,

such as asthma, diabetes and hypertension.

Dr Niall Evans, an anaesthesiologist, joined us

to tell us why these conditions make some more vulnerable,

to COVID-19 and what we can do to protect ourselves.
