Smoke & Mirrors heats up this week with Phakathi determined to unravel the truth behind Sindi's murder. 

After revealing Mthetho's killer, he launches a fresh investigation, much to the dismay of Caesar and Jaxon. Phakathi faces resistance at every turn, but a breakthrough from Martha leads him to Sindi's burial site. An exhumation is ordered, potentially offering new clues in the cold case.

Meanwhile, the town grapples with love triangles and personal turmoil. Mandla's decision to commit to Philile leaves Lulu heartbroken, forcing her departure from Emnyameni. Philile faces intense heartache when her daughter goes missing. Jaxon pushes a dangerous plan to frame Mthetho, while Jerry's “movie production” casts a suspicious shadow. As Martha confronts him about unpaid bills, Jerry's charm offensive leaves the outcome uncertain. With Thandiswa offering solace to a grieving Caesar, the week ends on a hopeful note, but underlying tensions promise more twists and turns to come.
