Can TB vaccine help to fight COVID-19?

Melanie Rice spoke to TASK CEO professor Andreas Diacon about a new clinical study. The study will test a possible link between countries which use the Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG) TB vaccine and lower death rates.

Although there is still no conclusive evidence that it could protect people from contracting the coronavirus, scientists are testing whether it could influence the severity and rate of COVID-19.
