COVID-19 and a clean environment
So much more education and leading by example,
around keeping our environment clean in poorer communities is needed.
That’s according to epidemiologist Dr Jo Barnes.
She spoke to Naledi Moleo earlier about World Environment Day.
Barnes says the environment, may not be a top priority for people living below the breadline.
But she says this must be addressed as there is a connection,
between COVID-19 deaths and the state of one’s environment.
