W Cape’s COVID-19 budget plan

The Western Cape Provincial treasury tabled its budget this week.

While R1.8 million has been made available for acquiring PPE, building field hospitals and additional bed capacity, millions will also be spent on the province's emergency school feeding scheme and to secure isolation and quarantine sites.
