Hawk-eyes on IMF's R71bn loan

In the spotlight is the IMF's multi-billion dollar loan to South Africa. 

South Africans are, however, sceptical about the amount of borrowed money flowing into the country,

But National Treasury insists the R70 billion IMF loan will NOT jeopardise South Africa's sovereignty, and will be spent wisely.
