Unions: KZN not ready for COVID-19 storm

There are growing concerns that KwaZulu-Natal is not ready for what lies ahead, as the province is set to become the country’s next COVID-19 epicentre. 

Currently the province is recording an average of 3 000 COVID-19 cases a day. 

More than 450 workers have already tested positive at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, while staff at the Osindisweni Hospital downed tools earlier this week over safety concerns.
