Elderly suffer as government turns its head

For five months, more than 125 social care organisations, have been waiting for subsidies from the social development department. 

Workers at these facilities have been picking up extra shifts, sourcing their own personal protective equipment, and working on shoestring budgets to provide care for the aged, sick and vulnerable.
