Isitha: The Enemy Parenthood is not for the Fainthearted

The journey to parenthood is often the happiest time for a couple. However, I wish the same could be said for Solomzi and Nandi. Ever since Nandi broke the news to Solomzi that she is pregnant, he wanted nothing to do with the child and went as far as suggesting an abortion. Nandi refused. Solomzi finally warmed up to the idea when he recalled how harsh it was growing up without his father present. Now that he wants to step up for his child, he decides crime is the way to go for money. He plans to steal cars and on one unfortunate evening, Nandi follows him to see what he is up to in the night. She witnesses her Prince Charming shooting someone and he sees how frightened she is in that moment. Following that incident, she goes home to pack for her return to KZN.
