A roaring TV festival celebrating Disney’s “The Lion King”

In an epic celebration of the iconic 1994 animation, Disney Africa proudly staged "The Lion King 30th Anniversary Tribute Special” in July this year. Now, in association with e.tv, viewers can enjoy an exclusive screening of the special tribute concert.

With highlights including timeless songs from the original film as well as other beloved Disney movie moments, “The Lion King 30th Anniversary Tribute Special” features performances by a stellar line-up including Monique Steyn, Zita Pretorius, Brandon October, Monde Msutwana, and Tracey-Lee Oliver.

Performed by The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Eddie Clayton, the not-to-be-missed TV special also includes special appearances by guest stars Shekhinah, Vusi Nova, Lira, and Lebo M.

“The Lion King 30th Anniversary Tribute Special” will be broadcast exclusively on e.tv at 5PM Sunday August 18, and on eMovies at 7PM Monday August 19. In addition, fans can look forward to a roaring time e.tv brings viewers all three animated “The Lion King” films in a celebratory festival - exclusive to e.tv and eMovies!
