Liquor stores were allowed to reopen on Tuesday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Monday evening that with new COVID-19 9 infections are declining, liquor stores
will be allowed to trade from Mondays to Thursdays.

Pubs and eateries are also allowed to serve alcohol between 10am and 10pm.

But with the first batch of vaccines having arrived in the country just one day ago, some restaurant and tavern owners,
are worried that the booze ban will return.

Tavern owners around the country are scratching their heads,
after they were forced to close their doors last night,
for a second time this year, as a result of rising COVID-19 infections.
